Our Logistics and Packaging Capabilities

We don’t just make cores and tubes.  We help get them to you exactly how and when you want them.  We have partnered with an extremely reliable, local, asset-based carrier and have developed strong relationships with national FTL and LTL freight providers.  Our logistics team can arrange all transportation to ensure that your orders deliver when they are expected.  We offer trailer drop/hook programs for high volume full truckload customers in GA, SC and NC.

We can ship our cores and tubes in whatever packaging format is most suitable for your production process.  Some of our most frequently requested packaging options include:

Bundled and stacked core lengths

Bundles

Cores are bundled horizontally and secured with high strength polyester strapping. The quantity per bundle is determined by the core’s diameter. This format is useful for long length cores in carpet and industrial textile applications. Bundles are moved with a forklift carpet pole attachment

Pallet of stacked cores

Individual Pallets

Tubes and cores are stacked horizontally in rows on wooden pallets, with 1”x4” wood siderails and wrapped with stretch film. These can be loaded as tall as 85” and as long as 196” to maximize your floor space and minimize your freight costs.

Cores stacked on a refillable cart

Returnable and Refillable Carts

We offer programs with returnable/refillable caster wheeled steel carts. These carts can be custom fabricated to optimize the quantity of cores per cart, the maneuverability needs of your process and the stacking requirements of your facility.

Layers of cores stacked on ends

Vertically on End

Shorter tubes and cores are vertically stacked on wood pallets, divided into horizontal sections with corrugated dividers and secured with stretch film. The film is designed to be unwrapped as you use the tubes – keeping the unused portion organized and secure.

Double stacked and wrapped pallets of stacked cores

Double Stacked Pallets

Tubes and cores are stacked horizontally in rows on wooden pallets, with 1”x4” wood side rails, wrapped with stretch film and secured with polyester strapping. These pallets can be loaded as high as 52” tall and stacked up to four pallets tall in your facility for storage flexibility.

Box of loose cores

Boxed

Smaller tape and label cores are shipped in sturdy 20” x 24” x 22” corrugated boxes. We can stack 16 boxes on a pallet, secured with stretch film. The quantity of cores packaged per box is a function of the length and diameter of the cores ordered.
